\"2018-08-04<\/span>The Growing Concern School is a Montessori preschool & kindergarten, and private elementary school located in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. Although we are a private school, we are a non-profit organization licensed by the PA Department of Education. We have been using the Montessori method of educating children from Preschool and Kindergarten through Elementary for more than 40 years.<\/span>
\nThe Growing Concern has proudly served the Pocono Mountain community for the past forty years with a unique and exceptional alternative to other educational options.\u00a0 Hundreds of children in the area have had the opportunity to enjoy the school\u2019s special Montessori environment and approach to education.<\/p>\n

The \u00a0present staff is a congenial, dedicated group of educators and administrators, some of whom have worked at the school for over 20 years.<\/p>\n

The Growing Concern is a tax-exempt, non-profit educational organization. We are not affiliated with, or subsidized by, any religious organization.<\/p>\n

Areas Served by the School<\/h2>\n

The Growing Concern School serves the Pocono Mountain Region of Northeast Pennsylvania including Monroe County, Pike County, Carbon County, and Northampton County. The school is also a short drive from the Lehigh Valley and Western New Jersey.<\/p>\n

Transportation<\/h2>\n

Elementary and kindergarten students living in some areas of Northeastern PA are eligible for transportation from their school district. The Pocono Mountain, Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, and Pleasant Valley School Districts currently provide transportation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
